me & my partner own a mortgage together.....how can i get my name off the mortgage..we are gay & our relationship is ending

welcome to forums!

your partner will have to refinance the mortgage. this is the way lenders prefer. however, there is also a process of novation which will also help both of you to remove your name from the mortgage.

Hi cmorgan!

You can sign a quitclaim deed in your partner's name and then your partner can refinance it. Lenders also prefer it this way.
