I have heard the terms rent and lease. Some people sign rental agreements while some sign lease agreements. What are the major differences between rent and lease?
Hi Peeping,
There is no huge difference between the two. A lease is an agreement to pay rent for a specific period of time whereas rent is month-to-month payments. The agreement may not have any predetermined ending.
Take care

Hi Peeping!
Welcome to the forums!
Normally, a rental agreement is signed for a short period of time such as 30 days whereas a lease agreement is mainly signed for a long period of time such as 6 months or 1 year.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
