I am selling my house. I did get a buyer and also signed a contract with him. But he is taking very loan time to finalize the deal. He has 30 days to complete the deal or I can cancel it as per the commitment letter. In the meanwhile, I have received a better offer from another person. The 30 days of commitment letter is still not complete. So, will I able to sign a new real estate purchase agreement with the other person?
Hi Baboon,
As the said 30 days are not complete, it won't be right for you to cancel that deal and sign a new deal with the other person. It will be better if you wait till the 30 days of the contract are over.
Take care

Hi Baboon!
Welcome to the forums!
Unless the 30 days time period as mentioned in the commitment letter gets over, you should not cancel the deal. It may lead to legal repercussions.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
