Hello there... I want to sell off my primary residence which I have once refinanced. There is this clause that I cannot rent the property within 12 months. While selling the property, will this clause be of any problem? I just have 2 months more to complete the clause.
The clause should not come up as a problem as you are not renting the property but you are selling it off. If there is no pre-payment penalty, then you might not face any problem.

You can show the document to a real estate attorney and take his opinion in regard. He will let you know whether or not you can face any problems if you sell off the property.
