Hello, I was just reading up on some of these q&a's and yet im still unsure of my situation. I have had a voucher since mid June. It expires on August 31st. I am a single mother and a full tiome college student and have been doing everything humanly possible to find a decent home for the limit of my voucher, as well as saving every last penny to cover 1st month and deposit.I have been staying with my mom until I find a place. Her house is very cluttered and chaotic with myself, my daughter her, and my two sisters, especially in an apartment. Anyway, with all of this cammotion the safest place to keep my savings is in my car glovebox. Someone recently broke into my car and STOLE all of my money for mya daughter and I to move with and I am not only devastated, and sickly upset because like I said I have done nothing but worked my tail off to get this far, not to mention the years I waited before I got the voucher.Do I have a worthy enough cause for an extension on my voucher?I am so lost as to what to do.....please help.
Hello.

You can request for an extension on your voucher section8 program mentioning you disability. You also need to mention the length of the extension period for which you are requesting and what action will be taken to ensure that you will find the rental unit if the extension period is approved.
