Hi Everyone,
It will be two years this fall after our shortsale has gone through. I've been reading that if it's a fannie mae backed mortgage that we may be able to purchase a home. Does anyone out there know of a mortgage lender who would help us obtain a home loan?

Hi Rosie!
Welcome to forums!
As 2 years are about to be over since your property went for short sale, there are high chances that you will be able to get a mortgage to buy a new property now. You should contact the local lenders and apply for a mortgage. This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them in order to know whether or not you'll be able to get a mortgage.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi,
We are a direct lender based in California. We write these types of loans, along with a good reason for the short sale. You can contact me if you are interested to see what you qualify for. Good Luck!
