My lender insists that the contractor we use is bonded. Is the lender requiring permit bonding, miscellaneous bonding, or contract bonding?

Your lender will be the best person to help you know whether or not he would require a permit bonding, miscellaneous bonding, or contract bonding. You should contact your lender once again and clarify the whole issue.

Apparently, your lender isn't so interested...find someone else in the same office and ask the question; or kick it up a notch if you can to an area manager. Poor service is a very good reason to kick a lender to the curb.
