I have a fico score of 673 and applied for FHA home loan, my dti was 28 front end and 40 back end. A few years ago i co-sign for my daughter's student loan, which shows on my credit at 15000 the loan is in forbearance for 3 months at a time given it is a private Sallie Mae loan. Loan was denied. I have EXellcent rental credit. I filled BK 4 years ago and case has be close, what is my lending problem.
Hi doebabe!

Welcome to forums!

If you've too much of negative items on your credit report, then you won't be able to qualify for a FHA loan. You are a cosigner for a student loan which is in forbearance. This may be considered as a negative item and the lender may not issue a loan for this reason. However, the credit score that you have is good enough to qualify for a FHA loan.
