Hello there… I am 65 years of age and receive pension. My monthly income is somewhere around $1500. I am also working part-time. Given such a situation, will I be able to get a home loan?
The lender cannot refuse to give you a loan on the basis of your age. Moreover, if you wish you can even take out a reverse mortgage to buy your primary home at this age.
Hi Oldman,
I agree with what Niicss has said. Age cannot be a discrimination factor. It will be better if you could get in touch with the local lenders and start applying for a mortgage. If you meet all the required criteria of the lender, you will get the loan.

Age has never been a discriminating factor for loan. The main thing that is considered is your income, and in your case it is sufficient to get a loan. Just search for a lender and start applying for mortgage.
