I am veteran and along with my spouse, we are trying to rebuild our scores and get a loan. My score is higher than my spouse’s credit score. When I apply for a VA loan, whose score will be taken into consideration?
Hi Guest,
As far as I know, if both of you are applying jointly for the loan, then the credit scores of both of you will be taken into consideration by the lender.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Guest!
Welcome to the forums!
There are high chances that the lender will take into consideration the credit score of the veteran as it is a VA loan.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
