Is it common practice for mortgage companies to add Home Owners Association Dues to the mortgage payment?
HI balyles,
As far as I know, you will have to pay the Homeowners Association dues to the association separately. It is not generally attached with the loan. However, if you've signed any document stating that the lender will have the rights to attach the association dues with the loan, then he will do the same.
Take care.

The dues are added to the mortgage payment for the purposes of calculating the house debt ratio.
They are not actually added to the mortgage payment made evrey month.

Your HOA dues are paid separately from your mortgage note payments. Make your HOA dues a priority :D
