Can I use my home that I just bought four months ago as collateral for a loan if I have bad credit?

i bought the home in feb and we have put a ton of money into the place to fix it up. now we need a loan to finish the house completely. we wanted to refinance to bring down the payments, but we do not have good credit. therefore, we want to use some of the loan money for the house and the rest to fix our credit enough to refinance. will it be difficult to find someone to give us a loan with bad credit?
Hi jonpowell,

It is difficult to get a loan with bad credit in this market. If the lenders think your credit is not good enough to refinance, it will no doubt be difficult for you to get approved for a new loan. In the current market situation, a minimum of 600-620 credit score is necessary to get a loan. What is your credit score?
