Me and my fiance are looking to buy our first home, my score is good and his score is pretty bad. The houses that we are looking at are 25,000-30,000. We just want a cheap house to get us started, I only work part time since I am going to school full time and stay home with the kids during the week. He is the breadwinner and brings home the majority of the money. I only work part time but have to put the house under my name due to his bad credit would I get approved for a FHA loan?

You can apply for a FHA mortgage and your husband can cosign for the loan so that his income will be considered. You should contact the local FHA lender and start applying for mortgage. The lender will look into your financial and credit situation and let you know whether or not you can get a mortgage.
