Most lender have stopped the VOE program. You dont receive a W2? Do you get a 1099? Have you reported your earnings on Fed Tax Return? What state are you looking to purchase?

MSP, you must have some sort of record that indicates your gross earnings from time to time; and, as Chris noted, we'd like to think that you've been paying taxes to the Federal Government along the way.

What is your circumstance that leads to the missing documentation?

If it is a small company and the employer doesn't wish to give all these letters confirming the employment, what would be the process then ?

In such a situation, it will be difficult for the person to qualify for a loan.

Regardless of the size of a company, any employer who would be resistant to verifying data for one of his employees who's attempting to qualify for a mortgage would be the kind of employer I'd run away from, immediately and as fast as possible.

What would motivate someone to be so resistant to divulging someone else's information for what would be a beneficial purpose?
