My husband and I are going to buy a house next year. He has a credit score of more than 700 whereas I have a score of 652. He makes good money but I don't work. Will we be able to get a mortgage?
Hi Aliceia,
As you do not work, you may not be able to qualify for a mortgage. Your husband can definitely qualify if he meets the lending criteria of the lender.
Take care

Hi Aliceia!
Welcome to the forums!
Apart from the credit scores, there are various factors which the lender will take into consideration while giving the loan to your husband. Unless your husband meets all the lending criteria, he may not get the loan.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
