I want to buy a property and don't have the required down payment. I need to know if I could get any kind of down payment assistance.
Hi Molly!
Welcome to forums!
Some states do provide down payment assistance. You should contact your lender and check out if he can let you know as to where you can get down payment assistance from.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Welcome Molly,
Sussane is right. There are certain states which will offer you down payment assistance. Your lender will be able to let you know whether or not your state is one of them. If you have friends or relatives, then you can even ask them to gift you the money for down payment.

Check into USDA Guaranteed Home Loans, because they don't require a down payment, just loan fees. Same with the VA Guaranteed Home Loan program, if you or your spouse is a Veteran.
