I have been employed for over 7 years constantly but have wrecked my credit. My score is 443 Eq. My wife however is not employed and has a credit score of 670 eq. Would it be possible for us to get a mortgage with me being a cosigner for income on the mortgage?
Hi Guest,
With a 443 credit score, I don't think the lender will let you to co-sign for the loan. Nevertheless, you should contact the local lenders and take their opinion in this regard.
Thanks

Since 443 credit score is not at all a good score, the lender will not allow you to co-sign for the loan. However, you may get in touch with the local lenders and take their suggestion in this matter.

Lenders generally allow someone to co-sign in case that person has good credit score. Your credit score is only 443. Lenders will not allow you to co-sigm. I would suggest you to put in efforts to improve your score. Your wife can also seek employment.
