Hi there… I am planning to take out a mortgage - a FHA loan. I have a bad score – 646 and also have some old medical debts listed in my credit report. Can I get a loan?
Hi Sandystorm,
With a credit score of 646, you can get qualified for a FHA loan provided you meet all the other criteria of the lender. If the medical debts have passed SOL, then you won't face any problems with them.
Take care

Hi Sandystorm,
FHA loans are available at a score of 620. So, with the scores that you have, you will be able to get a loan. This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them and check out if they can help you in this regard.
Thanks
