i am looking at buying a manufactured home. i want to get the fha loan to fix some things and get appliances. the bank i am going through said i might not be able to get the fha loan because the home is manufactured, but i have read on the internet that you can get the loan it doesnt matter if its a manufactured home. does it matter what type of house it is??
Welcome amslegh,
As far as I know, FHA approved lenders will be able to make loans to borrowers under the Title I program to finance the purchase or refinance of a manufactured home or lot. I would suggest you speak to few other FHA approved lenders to check out if you can get a loan. This community also has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage consultation from them in order to know whether or not you would qualify for a loan.
