I am in the same boat as a previous questioner. I have diligently worked to raise my score from a horrid 534 to 632 and by no means am I finished yet. I would love to apply for an FHA mortgage, but how will I know which of the bureaus they use to make their decision? Transunion has me at 614.
the standard is to obtain a triple-merge report from all 3 repositories. the credit score that applies will be the middle score. as an example, if you have scores of 632 and 614 and, say, 620; then the 620 will be the score they use. the high score is disregarded and the low score is disregarded. it wouldn't matter which of the three agencies reports the score that is used.
thank you George.
you are quite welcome.
