Need loan to fix up rental house

Posted on: 25th Apr, 2013 07:47 am
We have a rental house that has been rented for years(it is paid for)
and now needs fixing up. How and what kind of loan do we need?
You can approach your landlord and ask him to fix any sort of structural defects that are there. However, if you want to do it yourself, then contact a local contractor and ask for the exact estimate to renovate the house. After getting the contractor's quote, you may apply for loans to HUD (energy efficient mortgage) or your current lender for financial help.

Firstly, have a chat with your landlord and then decide. Most importantly, you need to specify what kind of repairs.
