Mortgage on fully paid property

Posted on: 19th Aug, 2013 01:39 am
Will I be liable for paying the mortgage a fully paid off property?
Hi Ceiline,

If the mortgage is fully paid off, then you will not be liable for making any payments on the property to the lender. However, you will have to pay the property taxes and maintenance charges.

Take care

Hi Ceiline!

Welcome to the forums!

I guess you are buying a property through cash and not taking out a mortgage. In such a situation, you will not be liable for paying any mortgage payments to anyone.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
