My fiancé and I are looking forward to buy a house before we legally get married. Both of us have good income and credit scores. Will we be able to get a FHA loan?
Hi Guest,
Your marital status has nothing to do with getting a mortgage. If both of you meet the required criteria of the lenders, you will be able to get a mortgage.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry is absolutely right. You both can apply for a loan before you get married.
With a credit score of about 580-600, it is possible to get a mortgage loan within your means. What is your present score?
