Hi HOLLY,
In order to qualify for a Homepath loan, you will have to purchase a Fannie Mae owned property. You will have to contact the local lenders and apply for Homepath loan. The lender will check your financial situation and will let you know whether or not you will be able to qualify for the loan.
Thanks

Hello Holly,
However, the lender cannot demand the deficient amount if your mortgage loan is a non-recourse one. The borrower is also not responsible for the deficient amount if he belongs to a state where anti-deficiency laws are practiced.
