Is it necessary to take out a mortgage insurance on a FHA Streamline Loan?

As far as I know, FHA loans by default require a mortgage insurance. You may not be able to avoid it.

You should contact the local FHA lenders and they will let you know whether or not you will require a mortgage insurance.
