I work for a large solar panel manufacturer and we are looking for some home equity financing programs that we can refer our end customers to for financing.
Ideally some kind of partnership or co-branded program whereby customers who are looking to buy solar can get home equity financing through a financial parter of ours.
Any ideas or suggestions? Or if you are an active broker with access to home equity lenders in all 50 states would you be open to developing a partnership of sorts? We could provide significant leads - people who want to tap into home equity for the sole purpose of buying solar panels. My experience has been than a significant number of these people also take out a larger home equity lines of credit and are also interested in refinancing existing home equity loans. These applicants will have been preliminarily pre-screened - they know they have to have equity in their homes to qualify and must have decent FICO.

Hi ks_son,
It is true that in order to get a home equity loan, one should have equity in the property. Apart from this, a decent FICO score is also required to get a loan. This is a mortgage community wherein people come up with their mortgage related queries and seek suggestions from the experts and other members participating here. The community has a large number of lenders who participate in the forum discussions. Your customers or you (on your customer's behalf) can seek a no obligation free mortgage consultation from them to know whether or not the customers would get a home equity loan.
