Loan using manufactured home as collateral

Posted on: 16th Oct, 2012 01:45 pm
I am trying to get a loan of about $5,000. I own a manufactured home assessed at $70,000. The problem is that it is in a park. I have been told when applying that they can't give me a credit score because I have such little credit, but not bad credit. Any advice would be appreciated. I am willing to put the home up as collateral since I am trying to sell it right now anyway. Can't I get some type of loan and do it as a voluntary lien which is paid in the escrow?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi sgtleopard,

You can contact the private lenders and check out if they can help you with a loan in your present credit situation. But you should also note here that private loans are available at a very high interest rate.

Thanks

Hi sgtleopard!

Welcome to forums!

Getting a loan of $5000 will be quite difficult. Lenders are not willing to offer a loan for such a small amount.
