We seem to keep running into problems with our realtor not wanting to be bothered with manufactured homes that are for sale already built on a foundation/land. We keep hearing that no one will give us a loan for it. Is this true? If the places are for sale then how does one go about buying it? We have come across some really nice forclosed homes on really nice property and would LOVE to purchase one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kathleen

Hi QueenB,
As far as I know, loans are available for manufactured homes which have permanent foundation. I would suggest you to contact the other local lenders of your community and try to get a mortgage to buy the property. You can also apply for a no obligation free mortgage quote from the lenders of this community and get to know what type of rates and terms you would receive from the lenders when you apply for a loan.
