i have been having a problem finding a national lender for a home mortgage loan. My income over the past years has been no less than 75,000 and no higher than 130,000. I currently have 25,000 to put down, and want to purchase something by this december, any Mortgage lenders advice out htere on companies that are loaning on a 580 mid score?

mortgage lenders will surely ask for the justification for such a low score.they will also check the credit history before approving the proposal.best luck for your hunt.by the way is this your second home?? looking for some investments in real estates??

john, work on your credit and get that score up. as you may have seen elsewhere on this forum, 620 is the new standard...yes there may be lenders who'll do business with you with a lower score, but that's going to cost you. if you can take care of the credit issues that hold you back at this time, it will do you good in the long run and you'll get the loan you desire.
