I have contacted several lenders and they all say they will not do an equity loan on a single wide mobile home. Does anyone know of a lender who will?
This is a nice/modern mobile (single wide-1200 Sq. Ft) on prime/beautiful view/ 2 acres in Texas hill country. (not a mobile home park). Lot's of improvements--decks--septic---etc...I owe less than $20K on land (nothing on home) and it would appraise at between $85K and $100K.
Is everyone laughing as we speak? :roll: Seems I might have been better off had I bought into one of these overpriced/over financed double wide monstrosities they tried so hard to sell me.

Have the lenders given you any reason as to why they won't give you a loan? If you've equity in your property, then you should be able to get a mortgage.
