Can I provide "mortgage" to my daughter? I am helping her to buy a house in cash but I would like to put in some security.
That is she will own the title, I hold a "lien" on the house as with a mortgage company for the purpose she cannot sell the house without paying me first? If individual cannot provide "mortgage", would you suggest some other way to serve the same purpose?

Hi minachan,
Surely you can provide a financial help to your daughter and in return you can ask her to stick to a payment plan which is set earlier when amount is disbursed....
In order to make it more legal you can register your mutual agreement in the court with the help of attorney.
Feel free to ask any further query if you have...........
