Can I qualify for a mortgage with a bankrupcty and foreclosure in last year?

I was laid off of my job in 2008 causing me to be unemployed for 10 months. Subsequently, I lost my home and had to file bankrupcty. I have been employed now for over a year in the same industry I was working in for 10 years. I now have a six figure income now and can show a good mortgage payment history (Prior to foreclosure), a good renatl history for the last year and have never defaulted on or been late on car payments ever. I have owned 4 houses in the last 16 years.
Despite all the positive on your credit side you need to wait for 2-3 more years for getting fresh line of credit for mortgage.

It differs due to different chapters of bankruptcy.

this site gives you better understanding on the BK basics.
