I have signed an agreement to sell my property to close end of July. Now my situation is that I actually need to move back into the house myself due to a break up I am going through. Are there legal consequences?
There likely will be legal consequences if your buyer still wants to purchase the property, as is able to meet all their obligations in the purchase contract - up to and including you being sued. I'd recommend you discuss this with your own real estate agent to determine what the best course of action is to help mitigate any legal trouble you could get into.
