Can seller remove my partner?

Posted on: 13th May, 2013 01:58 am
I am buying a property. The seller now says that the person who is living with me is actually trespassing!! I can’t believe. I mean how can that be so? Can the seller have my partner kicked out?
Hi Guest,

You're in the process of buying the house. The deal is yet not complete. So, the seller is the present owner of the property and so he has the rights to remove your partner from the property. Once you become the owner of the property, he won't have any say in the matters of the property.

Take care.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to the forums!

I agree with what Sara has said. Unless you become the sole owner of the property, you will have to listen to what the present owner says.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
