my spouse bought a house before we were married. a few years after our marriage, she refinanced, put my name on the mortgage and signed a quit claim deed. i never really went through the process to buy a house. we are now looking to move. am i considered a first time house buyer?
Hi blog,
If your name is mentioned on the property deed as one of the owners of the property, then you won't be considered as a first time home buyer.

Hi blog!
Welcome to forums!
I agree with what Adonis has said. In order to be considered as a first time home owner, you shouldn't own a property for the past 3 years.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
