am geeting divorced and i want to give my husband the properties, in the settlement when i give him the house, how do i get the mortgage in his name?

After you transfer the property in your husband's name, he will have to refinance the loan in his name. Once he refinances the loan in his name, you won't be liable for the mortgage dues any longer. He would be responsible for the mortgage payments.

You will have to refinance. You can quit claim your name off of title but, to remove yourself and add him to the mortgage; you'll gave to refinance.
