what would happen if my wife left me and i keep paying for the house even tho im not in the loan or anything to do with the house except that im the one making the payments all the time?, we do taxes together and the bank looked at my income before giving her the loan
Hi iconde,

You can ask your wife to sign over the property to you and then you can refinance the mortgage in your name. Thus, you would become the owner of the property and would be fully liable for the mortgage dues.
