Tax question

Posted on: 03rd Sep, 2010 07:31 pm
I have not filed last years tax return, but I am planning to file this year. I am applying for a loan and want to know if my loan is dead if I don't have last 2 hrs returns. I am w2'd and have no other income. My question is, can I get a loan if I haven't filed yet? What happens if I don't have the returns? Thank you.
Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

You will have to show 2 years of tax return to the lender in order to get qualified for a mortgage. If you're unable to show 2 years of tax return, there are chances that the lender will not give you the loan.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
