what if i have a usda loan and get married will my payment go up? can my new husband be on the deed in case something was to happen to me? that way he still has a place to live .
Hi dude!
Welcome to forums!
I don't think getting married will raise your mortgage payments in any way. As far as adding your husband to the property deed is concerned, you can use a quit claim deed for the same. However, it's better to inform the lender about the same. The lender may want you and your husband to refinance the mortgage.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

If you have a USDA "Direct" mortgage and are receiving the payment subsidy, and your significant other who makes income moves into the home (doesn't matter if you are married or not), then that will affect the subsidy you receive from USDA since the household income has now increased. That is the only affect I know that would happen.
