I have found a 13.84 acre of land with a manufactured home on a permanent foundation. Please help.
Hi elenarkelly,
Did you contact the lenders offering VA loan in your area? If not, then you should contact them and find out whether or not you meet the required criteria to get the mortgage. You should even check out the rates and terms they are offering and then go for the loan.
This community has a large number of lenders and you can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them. This will help you in getting an idea as to what type of rates and terms you would get when you apply for a loan.

I am being told my husband needs to retire fully before he can get financing on the home in PA. They say lenders will not finance without it being a primary residence. He will retire in Auguswt of 2011. We presntly live in NY where is where he works. Does anyone know of this requirement.
Well Elena... I haven't heard of any such rule which says that a person will receive financing for a manufactured home only after he retires fully. I would suggest you to speak to other lenders of your locality and check out if they can help you in this matter.
