I went through a foreclosure two months back and then realized that I can not buy an hour for 3-7 years. But my soon to be wife wanted to buy a house in her name and still have my income associated with the loan. Will it be possible to do so?
Hi Appy,
As you have a foreclosure sale which is just two months old, you won't be able to be a party to your wife's loan. The lender won't allow it.
Take care

Hi Appy,
If the foreclosure is not mentioned on your wife's credit report and if she meets all the required criteria of the lender, then she can get the mortgage solely in her name.
Thanks

Sometimes Foreclosure will no solve quickly your wife wants to buy that home means you can proceed to buy that home with all legal formalities.Just make a clear idea about to buy the home and you can buy the home easily by consulting with other about this property problems.
If your income has to be associated with the new home loan, you probably won't get a home loan with a foreclosure in your cards. Wait for some more time.
If for the new home loan, your income is associated, you will not be able to get a home loan with a foreclosure in your cards. However, If the foreclosure is not mentioned on your wife's credit report then it might possible that she can get the mortgage solely in her name.
