I purchased my house before I met my Beautiful Wife. Now we have a Beautiful 6 year old Daughter and I love the both of them with all my Heart. So needless to say that the Mortgage is in my name only and I have been paying on the Mortgage for over 10 years. If I should pass away can my Wife keep making the payments on my Mortgage and once it is payed off, get the house in her name? What would be the best thing to do, so if I was to pass my wife and child can't get our House? Thank you
Hi Guest,
If your wife cannot refinance the loan, then she may have to assume the loan in order to continue with the payments.
Thanks

I completely agree with the posts ahead of mine that in case of your death your wife would need to file an affidavitof hiership and get the property transferred to her name.
