I live in Michigan and can't make my mobile home payment. I do work full time. Can they garnish my wages. I have lots of credit card debt due to putting my other bills on them to pay the home payment, car repairs etc. Any advice? Thanks
Hi kchomo!

As you are unable to make the payments for your mobile home, you should contact your lender. Check out the options that the lender can give you. The lender may offer you a loan modification or a forbearance. In loan modification, the lender will give you an alternative repayment plan. If the lender agrees for a forbearance, he will either suspend or reduce your payments for few months. This will depend upon your situation. I don't think the lender will directly garnish your wages. However, you can check out the following link to know about the ways to avoid foreclosure:

You can check out the debt consolidation or debt settlement methods in order to come out of credit card debts. I know of a debt consolidation community - "www.debtconsolidationcare.com". You can visit their website and speak to the financial coach who will help you in this matter.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
