Lien on a property

Posted on: 11th Jun, 2010 01:31 pm
Hi,
A person owes me money and I'd like to put a lien on his property. Just want to let you know that I went through all the legal process. The sheriff's office told me and said that they cannot levy his bank account because there is no sufficient funds. The only solution left now is to put a lien on his properties.
Any help/advice will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Kamel

Hi kbelhocine,

If you have a judgment from the court to place a lien on his properties, then you can go ahead with it. You can register the lien at the county recorder's office. You can even contact an attorney and he will help you in this regard.
