We were approved for a refinance in a HUD program and the lender still foreclosed on us and put the home up for auction in Missouri. No one purchased and the lender still has the home. We have not received an eviction notice. How do I know if it was a judicial or non-judicial foreclosure and if the 1 year Missouri redemption applies to me or not? How do we begin the redemption process?
Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
The 1 year redemption period is available in case the lender went for judicial foreclosure. The borrowers will have to request for judicial foreclosure to the lender before their property is formally foreclosed.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi LisaSchweiger,
