I'm relocating from Connecticut to Florida and plan on purchasing a mobile home on its own land . I have worked same job for 14 yrs as an electrician and have job in Florida as an electrician will it effect my application being at the new job only weeks??????? Thanks
It wont be a problem. You have worked in the same line of profession for so many years and the lender VVOE for your current and previous employment. If you have good credit score, many lenders will offer you loan without any hardships. Some of the lenders dont fund mobile homes check that too.
Employment shouldn't be a problem if the credit, assets, and reserves are there.
You might want to consider that in some loan products, you will be required to have a structural engineer check the mobile home to make sure the foundation is sound.
Very expensive, sometimes around $2000 in my area. Lenders can be very picky when it comes to the age of the home and the verification of a concrete or block for structural integrity of the property.

Hi Spark,
Welcome to forums.
What the lender wants to know is, whether you are still capable of making payments. This can be proved by presenting your new job offer letter and salary information.
If you are with the same company in Florida, then the work history will just go on adding up to the number of years you've spent with the company in Connecticut.
Hope this helps...
God bless you.

I think your biggest problem is going to be getting the loan on the mobile home, as mentioned above alot of lenders won't finance one, but if you do get someone to do it, for your own saftey make sure that it is thoroughly inspected and nailed down, florida has the storms doesn't it? The big ones that wipe everything out? You will also want to make sure that you keep the right insurances in place too.
purchase products for mobile homes are no problem, dude!
if anyone tells you they have a problem, ask a broker. lastly, fha-insured loans are available for borrowers looking to purchase or refinance a mobile home -- on land, post-1976 vintage. good luck!!

No issue with employment since most lenders will even use an employment offer letter if needed. So you will be fine with even one day on the job.
