When my wife and I divorced, the divorce papers gave her possession of the mobile home which was in my name only. What can I do to get it out of my name? She has had possession of this mobile home for eight years.
Welcome Tim.
Is the mobile home free of mortgage? if so, then simply sign over a grant deed (a quitclaim if there is a mortgage) to your wife thereby making the transfer effective. To know how deeds work, check out the page on Transferring Property Rights through Deed .
Thanks.

mobile homes are usually titled through the state's motor vehicle department. check with them about the proper title document to sign to transfer title.
as helpinguser stated, check with the lender if the home if financed. you may need to get their permission or refinance the mobile home.

My husban and I purchased a mobile home in south texas, we were paying it in payments, from owner to owner, for seven years, after the 7th year when we were about to pay the amount in full, he said to us that he didn't have a tilte for the mobile home, becaus this mobile homes were repo's, we had made the contract with a notary, and the taxes are under my husbands name, but we sold the mobile home and the persons we sold it to want a title or deed, how can I get one.
Hi Rosie,
It is quite surprising to me that you sold off the property to another person when you did not have the required title or the deed. In my opinion, you should contact a real estate attorney and take his help in this case.
