Hello,
My husband and I were looking at mobile homes to buy . no more then 35,000 . My husband just got dismissed from bankruptcy in Feb. of this year. He makes 35,000 a year , so I am sure he can pay for a 35,000 loan and we have a friend who is willing to co-sign , could we get a loan???

Hi bmorebabe!
Welcome to forums!
A dismissed bankruptcy would be mentioned as a negative item on your husband's credit report and it could get difficult for him to qualify for a loan. Nevertheless, as he has a cosigner, I would suggest him to contact lenders and check out whether or not he qualifies for a loan.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

If your mobile home is placed in a less populated area,
You might want to check the USDA program - Rural and Community Development.
Some of those are one of the best 100% mortgage financing options in the marketplace. In the USDA website you can check which Zip Codes are counted as "rural" I have heard some suburbs noted are quit surprising.
