HAS ANY ONE , GONE THRU THE NIGHTMARE OF A LOAN MODIFICATION WITH OCWEN ? CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE, ALL EMPLOYEES ARE IN PAKISTAN, I WAS TURNED DOWN CAUSE MY INCOME IS $ 200.00 A MONTH TOO HIGH.

I won't agree with this.........
They have headquarter in US and as far as customer service is concerned they might have outsourced the business to some of the south Asian countries in order to save money.
But they have gone through a big lawsuit (1.5 billion $) and have settled it out of court so that could be one of the reason for not getting the right service from representative of US origin (cost cutting on the expenses).

Ocwen unethical and Unprofessional business practices

You are absolutely right: Ocwen really screwed me up , my short sale contract was in process of thirty days review period with Ocwen and sheriff sale date was due. I asked Ocwen to extend the Sheriff sale date since the contract is under review period and buyer is ready to buy our home on cash, but all calls were gone to India, where unprofessional untrained, unethical and senseless people have been putting me on hold to talk to the person who is handling our file. The person who is handling our file is never there and you only have an option to leave the voice message promising to return your calls which i never received. By the way when we have day time in USA, India has night time which is resting for the people there, believe it i am from that part of the world and i know how people work there. Many of these unprofessional people do not even work in the working time and how come you can expect to work in the night time.
Any way, Ocwen did not return our many many many calls to extend the sheriff sale date and sheriff sale took place while the Short sale contract was in review with Ocwen with 30 days period, We lost our home in between calling senseless Ocwen customer service people in India and Short sale offer process. These overseas Ocwen unprofessional and senseless employed customer service people do not even understand what is short sale and what is Sheriff sale. Ocwen really showed an unprofessional attitude ans after reading many complaints, I really do not know how these unprofessional businesses can run their business with in the country where rule of law is above all.
These are unprofessional and unethical business practices in a country where Rule Of Law is above all.

I agree. Ocwen is so difficult to talk to. I can't seem to reach a rep. and today was on hold for an hour only to have my call disconnected. The family and I are ready to call it quits and follow through with in lieu of deed.
