Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
The judgment is against your spouse. I hope you are nowhere mentioned in that judgment. Thus, you are not liable for it. You will be able to buy a property of your own depending upon your credit score and income. As the property will be solely in your name, the creditors of your spouse will not be able to come after your property to recover their dues.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Guest,
Nevada is a community property state and I have had underwriters require that a non borrowing spouse's credit be pulled as part of the approval. In addition to that, the title company will also do records search once you're under contract and that will usually show any judgments.
